Patrick Le Pelch Architecture is committed to providing quality design services for all types of housing, regardless of the income level or societal disposition. We undertake projects which are occupied by many different user groups including seniors, low income families, empty nesters, singles, as well as median income and affluent families. The housing types range from additions and renovations to single family custom homes to higher-density multi-unit designs.
We respond to each site with sensitivity to the existing context, both natural and built, and harbor an awareness of regional characteristics which inform the development of style and use of materials which are place and site specific. We understand the importance of history in the development of new construction and how new development should respond to and respect this history. This is achieved through a careful analysis of the underlying characteristics and patterns of the context and a response which incorporates modern technology used in traditional building applications.
We understand that each client brings a lifetime of experiences and tastes to the table when beginning a project. We ask questions, we listen and we determine what characteristics are important to the client, both aesthetically and programmatically. The project is not about the architect, it is about the client, the site and the context. The architect, however, is the facilitator of the many skills that are necessary to achieve the project goals. Customer satisfaction is based on a careful balance of the skillful leadership required of the architect while understanding at what point the client’s desires and needs should drive the design process.
We use the latest in computer technology for all of our production work and design work. Using computers, construction documents are produced with above-industry standard accuracy and they allow us to provide services with great efficiency. We strongly believe in client satisfaction and will go to great lengths to assure that the client’s needs are met in a timely manner.
